Why would we have a problem with these?
That's the point. It makes no rational sense. You have these thugs going around insulting them, assaulting them and making them fear in feel even if they are like 5th generation citizens who's parents served in the world wars and otherwise very upstanding members of their communities.
That is what gets the "Lefties" knickers in a twist, that many on the right are attacking innocents simply because they are darker skin, wear a headscarf or read from the Koran. They just dislike the intolerance of it.
It isn't the fact they are "muslim" either, it is just targeting against the hatred of the extreme right. It is like the old poem: First they came... by Martin Niemoller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came...)
So instead of:
Then they came for the muslims,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a muslim.
They are trying to speak out.
Then they came for the muslims,
and then I spoke out even when I am not a muslim.
