Viewing map and... bam, ctd

Hello, i'm new on forums so sorry if I posted this in wrong section

I'm really enjoying EB but there is a bug that keeps me from playing celtic factions, especially britons. Every now and then when viewing britain, the cursor gets frozen for a brief (about a second I guess) moment and then game says it stopped working resulting ctd. I re-installed EB but i'm still getting this strange bug

Having the same problem to a degree, I think its from when your cursor hovers over a piece of the map it provides a small description (like with fertile land etc), Maybe something is going wrong with that.... Dunno what i would need to replace to fix it though.

For me for example it always crashes when i place my cursor in the map tile directly below Vel... etc the city in the Alpine regions.

Do you have any mini-mods installed?

Only Jirisys' Europa Barbarorum Mega Mod Pack but that doesnt edit anything in the campaign map.

Did a little test today, started a new fresh campaign and then toggle_fow then put my cursor in the exact place where the CTD typically occurs.... I think its not campaign map description but when your cursor drops over a rebel village location.

because in my campaign when the CTD occurs theres a rebel "village" established near there.

ya thats was the problem at least for me, now i conquered the Alpine city and the region when i cursor over the village it no longer CTD's.

Yes it does, he included a watchtower mod. IIRC he fixed that in the latest version. Best ask the creator.
