Want to just warch a Tournament?

I am new to on line playing of TW games, so I was wondering if it is possible to just watch tournaments before I actually start challenging people?

I don't know about tourneys, but you can check out some MP replays in the Org media section, found here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/media.php).

It also depends on what games you want to watch Multiplayer gameplay for. For Rome: Total War, I would recommend the Prince of Macedon(https://www.youtube.com/user/PrinceofMacedon)
