From what I understand it all comes from hair samples collected at sites of suspected Bigfoot encounters.

I hear that there were dozens of samples and that the hair is very unique. Other than that everything I know is in the above link.

Bigfoot is real guys. I met a female Squatch on a camping trip and we spent a few nights in the tent together. It really was a perfect time, eating roasted raccoon and marshmellows, spoiling her with a giant brush and teaching her the macerena.

But on the third night, she confided that she was already in a relationship. It really broke my heart, but that Squatch was just too good to let go without a few more rolls, and while we were mid-bliss her man Squatch showed up half drunk off some Pabst and he started swinging a shovel at me. I had to call the park rangers and they showed up and split us up and tried to cool everyone down. I tried to get her to stay, but she was telling him that I was just "a thing" and when she told him "I love you pappy" my heart literally sank. They went off into the forest together, and the rangers consoled me because they could tell I was devastated.
