R.I.P. Patrick Moore

I just read that the great man had died this afternoon. A great eccentric but brilliant man. Both the US and CCCP space programs used his research, without which it may have been harder to get to the moon. As a coincidence it's forty years since we last went to the moon. A fitting tribute.
