Hi there. Happy new year's to all the EB players. I'd like to welcome the new year by inviting anyone and everyone to come play multiplayer games on EB Online. You can find out about us at our website (http://www.ebmultiplayer.com/). We host a Hamachi network which you're free to join to play with others. Don't be intimidated. There are plenty of veterans, but there are just as many newcomers. Talk with people and you are sure to find a match. There are always people to play with, but if you think our numbers are low now, just hang around until summer. That's when the network usually fills up as students are out of school.

Have fun gaming!

Guess I should use this as an excuse to purge the network.

On a more serious note, this is a somewhat slower time for EB multiplayer but somewhat shortly I expect the network to heat up. Last year saw multiple 4v4's, a few of which can be found on YouTube. Even now there is usually someone on, looking for a match if they can get one.

Interesting! Although I have a good tolerance for the AI in RTW/EB, I've wanted to play the multiplayer but alas, never seen anyone on...
So can I go onto the website looking for a casual match every once in a while and not a major endeavor?

Yeah just power on hamachi and see if anyone's on. I've seen more than a few people lately.

What time zone do you live in? Because of work I can usually only get on around 7PM Eastern Standard Time (US) so often that is too late for players in Europe but I'll log on the next few days to see if I can find you and give you an opportunity to play.

Also, just don't log onto the website, you'll find everyone who is willing to play on the Hamachi network. The website will spell out exactly how it works.

Well not everything. In downloads you'll find a lot of files. You really just need the EBO MP EDU (latest is 3.4). This will make you compatible and up to date with all other EBO players.

Now, the load replay mod is there because unless you put that in, you can't load replays in MP mode. And you do NOT want to load replays in SP mode. I'll spare you the explanation as to why that's the case.

The EB 1.2 fixes are, honestly, only for SP glitches (correct me if I'm wrong). But I thought I'd put all 3 in an installer format.

The rest of the files are not that important. RTW UVO is an app designed by gamegeek2 and ported to the PC by me. The replay packs are from different monthly tournaments through the years and you definitely don't want to play those back unless you know precisely which EDU version was in use at the time. Unless you have the right EDU, you won't be able to play the replay back accurately. Again, I spare you the explanation. I'm sorry to say that I haven't listed which EDUs were used in the various tournaments, I might do that at some point. Right now I just want people to be able to log on and play successfully.
