Does anyone eat alkaline? I have been doing so for several months now and have never felt better. It's an interesting concept if you enjoy your greens and such. :)

They use that in batteries, don't they?

I eat what I am hungry for, I don't plan anything. Red meat is supossedly bad for you, milk as well, eggs puredeath. But I happily drink two liters of milk a day, eat two eggs, and will eat rare steak whenever I can

I eat foods as you post on cheat days. It is hard to turn down a home cooked meal when you visit your parents! Ha ha. I do drink some milk every day as well. I am looking forward to trying soy nuts for a snack as I get the muchies from time to time and sunflower seeds just don't cut it.

As for my steaks, I like them to moo! :D

That's how a good steak should be, thick, bloody, barely alive

I read an article by a Chinese physician recently talking about this. I've heard/read from other sources that this is the best way to prevent/remove cancer and viruses from your body. Considering that eating in such a way also reduces the amount of poison you take in from stuff like GMO, preservatives and downright carcinogenic substances like aspartame, I'd say it's a very good way to eat.

You know that uncooked meat can have parasites that make fish suicide or generally alter mental functions, right?
IIRC humans infected with such parasites also tend to live more risky lifestyles but it's not sure whether the parasite infection is cause or effect.
Since I've known this I only eat my meat in black, pulverized form of course. What I still don't get is why people eat batteries against cancer.

Perhaps I did know eating raw meat alters brain-functions once. But that won't shy me away from eating some red meat raw. Love it.

Meat should be tough, chewy, and brown. You should have to struggle to get it down. Think wad of animal crackers melded with wad of chewing gum.

And don't forget the ketchup! :beam:

And don't forget the ketchup! :beam:

That is essential, especially when it comes to burgers.

Though cooking doesn't make a struggle to consume, it usually makes the meat more soft and perhaps even brittle, so easier to digest. If you actually can get it cooked properly with good quality meat, then it is truly beautiful.

I survive primarily on Bean and Cheese burritos from a local mexican joint, fruit smoothies from the corner store, and large quantities of diet coke. Seems to work well for me. :creep:

That diet Coke is going to be the death of you. Go back to real thing.

That diet Coke is going to be the death of you. Go back to real thing.

The 'real thing' is jam-packed full of calories. 150 per can compared to 1 per can from Diet Coke. Let's say GC has around 6 cans, so 2 litres per day, that is 900 calories to 6 calories. All that is before we factor in all those bean and cheese burritos... so 4 chocolate bars worth.

There is also more health risks involved then there are with aspartame.

Obviously, if you want the health answer, it would be "drink more clean water" opposed to more coca-cola, but recommending going to 'regular coke' is the wrong direction.

Yumm! smoothies!

A place up here has one with mainly berries (boring) and beets! Pulverized beets are pretty tasty :) Drinking these things makes me feel like I snorted a line of coke, better for me and much cheaper!
