I'm playing as the Romanoi and I see alot of familiar names but why can't I have Gauis Julius Caesar. EB allows one to recruit generals.
It happened to me and I've seen it in AARs aswell, the names are there in the FM list, so they can randomly generate...
Maybe you can mod a starting member to have that name (if you are that desperate for it), but I don't know if that would be enough, you might need to edit other entries aswell...

Ya I know his name must be there somewhere. But what city should I train him in?
Up to you? XD
He was born in the Suburra quarter, but in 100 BC or so...
People and their fetishes lol

Ok so what city would that be in game and what building is a pre-requisite for Ceaser?
The names of newborn family members and recruited generals are chosen randomly. It's not possible to get a specific name unless you mod the files. (For that matter, the primary personality traits of a character are determined by chance too, so it's quite possible to end up with a dull/lazy/uncharismatic Caesar.)

The real question here is why can't you spell Caesar?
Or did you mean Cesar Milan? He wasn't alive in the time period that EB covers.

He clearly means Cesar Romero, who would be an awesome general.

Pre battle speeches would be inspiring, "We're going to kill those guys over there, ooh hoo hoo hoo, ah haa haa haa!"

Pretty historical, too. "hooo hoo hoo haa haa haa! Gauls! Kill kill kill! good for my political career hoo hoo haaa!"

His picture card doesn't look very... Caesary...
But that might just be because after seeing HBO's Rome so many times that I now exclusively imagine Caesar as Kieran Hinds (probably spelt wrong).
But then, I also see Kieran Hinds as Caesar all the time now... even when he's clearly not playing Caesar. That minor part he had in "There Will Be Blood"? Caesar!

I think Rex Harrison was far better, albeit in an inferior movie.

I modded it in the end.
How could I get a reformator in 135 BC if there haven't been any serious battles in 60 years?

Not true - he needs a family member from the Gens Iulii - the Caesarian Clan, then that family member needs to keep having kids until he has one named "Gauis" which should be pretty quick - really.
Of course, historically, there were many men called C. Iulius Fil. C. Caesar

he certainly put the fear of God into the Gauls, having that mustache under the makeup. terribly ugly when put together--intimidates nearby enemy.
