Won't doing that reveal the FB profiles?
Edit:
Nice background pic BTW.
We won't know who is who. It's just some random names. Plus, when hundreds like it, we won't be able to distinguish anyone at all.
But Facebook's sole purpose is to monetize users' perso - ALL HAIL HYPNOTOAD!!!
But if I do that, all my friends will know I spend my free time on a gaming forum...

I can't see who else liked the page, it just gives the total number of likes.

That's what companies do, are you a communist?

If they don't like that, they're not your friends. Give up your former fake life and join our "community", hypnotoad says it's the only way to become truly happy.
You people wish. Maybe some day, maybe some day. Good idea, though.

Good idea and I would certainly "like" the page, but alas I am not one with FB.
As for monetizing my personal information...I suspect my Amazon account has me well covered for that...or my VISA account...or my....

Give up being the center of attention at parties? No Way!

Many ways lead to the center of a circle, young padawan.
I thought being a nerd was cool now?
Only when you have Bruce Willis with you and end up saving his hot daughter and America from terrorists.

The Smart Meter on your home or apartment tells them when you run an appliance and how high you turn up your heat or AC. Each time you use Google you tell them about your current interests and adds show up related to the search. All your phone calls are logged and recorded by the NSA. Your credit and debit cards tell them everything you buy, where, and when. They record every website you visit.
And you think liking something on face book is going to infringe on your privacy?
Get real!

You wish. Everyone from the power company to the national government has access to all the info. Go and google a product then go and do another search. See what adds come up. Same with amazon.com. You may be in India but the US is building a file on you.
Fisherking is correct. And before you complain, as I hinted earlier, we created this ourselves. Companies are almost forced to do this because if they won't, the competition will and the competition will then also get ahead. So they have to collect data to optimize marketing.
Because on the grand scale, people can be influenced better the more you know about them, and people who can be influenced are people who can be made to buy your stuff. I think that's okay if I also want that stuff. The only way out is communism. :2thumbsup:

I'm flattered. I doubt my own government has any useful records on me. At least someone is documenting my life.
