I just wanna trade!

Playing as the Maratha Confederacy I have taken all of India, and half of the middle east. This means I have hundreds of chests of spices, tea and cotton that are just building up. However, no matter how generous of an offer I make no one will trade with me. I offer all of my technology, one of my regions, thousands in coin and still they say, "Our two nations cannot trade because trade implies some kind of equality of worth."

Why? And how can I fix it?

You have obviously become too powerful. The Game God has damned to oblivion and all nations of the world will now shun you.

The harder the game setting the sooner this happens. There is not much you can do about it. That player hate is built in.
