1000 Koku army setup?

In general what should a basic army consist

how many units approx?
how much honor,which ones should have the highest?i know the tasiho should be tops?
is there such a thing as a basic setup?
or is it just best to keep changeing your
units for each game?or stick with what ya got?so many options to choose from,thats what make the game tops!!!

Get some Musks, YS and ND. Musks and ND set to h0 to give u more koku. The YS you could set to h1 or h2. I prefer to have a mix of h1 and h2 YS. Use the h2 YS to hold the center and the h1 YS to protect ur flanks and ur ND behind them If you get a numerical superiority, u can engage the h1 YS and flank with the ND. The flanks of ur opponent should collapse and u work ur way to the center. But what do I know, havent played since march http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Sorry m8, for the time being if you want to see any of my 1000 koku armies you will have to fight me, but I agree with Doragon_Ajidrik + his advice is very sound:

Some level 0 nodachi (or WM), some level 1 YS, maybe a gun (or two); that would be a pretty solid start. From there find out what suits your personal playing style and modify your army accordingly.

Also, you should probably design at least two default armies for 1000 koku. But design them in terms of "one for rain and one for shine", not "one for attack and one for defence".

I usually go for quantity over quality (within reason).

If you can match your enemy's units and then use any extra to attack the already engaged units from the side or rear, you can benefit from moral penalties that offset your opponent's honour bonus.
