Oh my, huge surprise.
Feel slightly unworthy considering the excellent company also becoming Senior Members.

Well this came out of the blue!
I am privileged and unworthy of such a title. I really appreciate it, this place is my home on the internet, I probably spend 70%+ of my internet time here.
Now for the secret forum...
Great company ^^
All hail the power of elders! XD

I personally think you all honestly made a mistake. I contribute nothing and the past week wasn't exactly the most polite discussion I have had with another member. I feel undeserving to be receiving this title at the same time as Monty and Rhy.
But I thank you all for this nevertheless. Maybe now that I see "senior member" under my name, I will keep in mind my duty to behave properly a little better.

Welcome to the club mateys!
I personally spent thousands of dollars lobbying Congress against each and every one of you.
But sometimes the will of the people prevails.
Curses!

It's always possible... Andres usually has a team of technical administrators to do this kind of stuff for him, so if on this occasion he tried to do it himself and clicked on the wrong people...

Are you implying I am fallible?

Thank you all.
There was one person forgotten, because I thought he was a senior member already for many years now.

Sooo, when are yougguys planning to announce the new senior members? Seeing that it's almost that time of the year again, I am a bit curious. Not that I want to become one my self :sweatdrop:

I can tell you that the pr0n stash is worth it. Have you seen that South Park episode where they talk about the most sick, bizzare, depraved movie ever made? Well, compared to Org stash, that film looks like a BBC nature documentary.

Whooah! Way to go for making me excited. If I knew that before hand, I would have used the money I paid to the pr0n sites for bribes to the mods. Damn :laugh4:

So I noticed that we didn't have new senior members since2013 , are we going to have any new appointments this year? If so to whom shall I give the annual bribe?

Oh no, everyone is too senior! Let's goldilocks this right!
Uhmmmm Just what is a senior? Is it age or time registered with the Org. Just asking and wondering where might the bribe be sent. Then again, have I out lived everyone.

Did you pay your dues? I hear once you give enough money your soul separates from your body and you become an ascended/senior member.
I personally spent thousands of dollars lobbying Congress against each and every one of you.

You should've marched on Rome over the Rubicon! :)

It's simply a way for the staff to say "Thank You" to members that have contributed much to the community. The only perk was a bigger private message box (the old forum allowed members to store only a couple of PMs - so it was a useful benefit for community organizers), but given that PM allowences have increased across the board, I don't think that still applies.

Understandable really, in those days computers had only like 640KB of usable memory.

I don't send PMs to anyone really so I'm fine.

Money and knowing the right palms to grease.

There's no list of requirements. Like I said, it simply a way for the staff to say "Thank You" to members that have contributed much to the community.

Dont believe a word he says! He just is saying the grease money you sent him was not up to snuff. I hear its on par with 8,000,000 Vietnamese dong.

When I retired as Site Admin back in 2001 I also got a token handshake and the bum's rush, but I did appreciate the senior member status.
