KLA'S SPARTAN UNITS
- The first complete re-skin of Spartan army -


Hello,

I present my new mod for Rome 2. This time it is a complete re-skin Spartan units, and also my biggest mod for RTW2.
It is also the first units pack for RTW2 completely changing faction units.

I decided to change the Spartan units for two reasons:
- Lacked diversity - most infantry units have the same faces and one helmet - Pilos (which is used by 90% of infantry units - Spartans, Perioikoi, Helots)
- I wanted to remove the Corinthian helmets because these helmets diden't use in the time of Rome 2.

As a result, we have a large skinpack units.

I changed the following things:

- Added a lot of different helmets, depending on the rank of the units (Phrygian, Thracian, Boeotian, Attic, Chalcidian, Pilos);
- Added better shield symbols, which in most cases is shining and it isn't only one symbol of Sparta;
- Added many faces because all infantry units had the same faces;
- completely removed the Corinthian helmets Heroes of Sparta and officers (read below, please!)
- I left a lot of elements characteristic of Sparta - symbols, beards, etc.

I really like the Corinthian helmets, however, decided to stick to the history. I myself have a replica of Corinthian helmet:

For this reason I made 2 versions of my Spartan Units Skinpack! :

1. historical, without helmets Corinthian;
2. For Freaks 300 - Corinthian helmets for Heroes of Sparta and officers! :)

Both versions of the Spartan Units Pack can be downloaded in a single file.




Installation:

1. Download the file.
2. Use the. Mitch.'s Mod Manager. That's it! :)

Hello,

I present my next mod for Rome 2.
I decided to change Celtic units.
In Rome 2, the Celts aren't diverse. There are very few helmets and only one chain mail. Southern Gauls and Celts are only 5 types of helmets... Most of Gallic units have the 2-3 helmets. Many helmets weren't used in the game.
I added 4 new helmets and 3 types of chain mail. There is a lot more diversely. For example - units that had 3 helmets before, now they have 8-10 helmets. Units who have 1 (chosen swords/spears!) helmet before, now they have 4 helmets.
I also removed boar figurines to add greater realism history. I haven't change shields, because in the game there are a lot of Celtic shields patterns. Helmets and chain mail were lack...
I hope that you will fall to the taste. This is the first mod changing Celtic helmets on such a large scale.

2. Use the. Mitch.'s Mod Manager. That's it! :)

Have you considered making a tutorial about how you do your magic with Rome II (I know this is over time acquired knowledge and there are tut for other game sin the series) but it is always good to update/refresh, for all.

After you finish your projects of course ;)
