Greetings Europa Barbarorum II fans!

Some of you who follow our Twitter updates will no doubt be aware that recently our very talented 3D artist, nazgool, has been working on one of the final Lugiones unit; the Aswiniai Medium cavalry.

Everything was going well until we attempted to decide which unit card to use for the unit. A deadlock ensued (which was not helped by certain Celtic historians changing their minds halfway through).

Considering we seem to have a good collection of rather wise and knowledgeable fans, and the fact we haven't treated you to an update in some time (sorry), we thought we would ask your opinion.

So here are the three options to choose from:

1. 10889

2. 10890

3. 10891

The poll will remain open until Friday 4th October.

And as always, thank you for your support!

It would be cool to get the second guy on the first horse with the third guy's head! That's my vote :)

Voted.....but I've changed my mind....the horse in number 3 is much better....the other two horses are squashed....chests too wide and the withers too broad....models for riders 1+3 REALLY REALLY NICE
(I know horses are hard too do and apologies if this sounds picky)

On the contrary it's a good observation.

Seems to me more about optical illusions due to the dark colour and probably a trick with different perspectives between terrain and horse. Because afaik 3D models are used, so they shouldn't be "squashed"...

I prefer the first when you look at it full size, but the third image is much clearer in the thumbnail, which is closer to the size of a unit card image. So 3 gets my vote for artistic reasons.

Voted 2 because they're "medium cavalry" and he's got a helmet.

I'm not going to say exactly who I voted for, but I do agree that the third horse is the best horse.

due to the Color (of horse and hose) the second one Looks very Barrel shaped. the third is nice and "scruffy looking" i like that a lot, tho I'd prefer the rider in 2. 3 does look suspiciously like "light cavalry".

Seconded. The third horse is the best, but from a purely functional perspective the second suggests "medium cavalry" the most. If the clothing isn't as accurate, maybe consider putting the helmet on one of the other models.

If the helmet is a problem, on the other hand, I don't know what to say. That's some ballsy dudes running into combat with no helmet.

This and first are the same. :)

They look a bit weird because of the perspective settings, it has a wide FOV.

Yeah I didn't doubt it was based on a real example, I was just imagining that it would potentially look funny from a high perspective on the battle map when all your horses (they won't of course) would look like this.
