Two-year parliamentary ban for Berlusconi
A court in Milan has ordered a two-year ban from parliament and elections for scandal-tainted former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi in the latest twist in his legal saga.

As far as I know he hasn't actually been banned yet. It needs to go through senate first. That bit is just a reputation thing. His actual punishment will either be house arrest or a year of community service.

..because I think that in most other countries the opinions and views on Berlusconi are largely the same, regardless of who you ask.
