Do Royal units rebuild automatically??

The manual says that Royal units will rebuild automatically over time. Is this the case.

My crown Prince is down to 3 Royal Knights and this number does not increase alone.

Anyone test this?

Only for your king's unit.....

You get a full unit of "royal" units (either R. knights, Boyars, Kataphractois or the muslim knight thing) when a prince matures.

Pretty cool, esp. when playing Byzantines (40 Kataphractoi are pretty good, esp. early on http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif)

My observations so far :
- A King's troop grows back every turn, a Prince's troop doesn't.
- When a heir becomes King, his troop is immediatly filled to the max (I think).
- You can transfer soldiers from a Prince to the King but not the other way around. You can also move soldiers from a Prince to a Prince.
- When a King is in an army, he is automatically the general for that attack/defence. This isn't the case for a Prince.
