I've only just noticed that the description of the Trading Post says "...a local shop selling local goods to local people."

Is this a reference the quirky comedy show that was recently on British TV called "A League of Gentlemen" ?

Without going into details, two of the most memorable characters in the show were a husband & wife couple (actually brother & sister too, I think) who ran a small shop in the middle of nowhere. They were obsessed with selling locally...

Perhaps the good folk at CA could comment on this ?

You are entirely correct. Additionally, the picture on any Inqusition related parchment is quite clearly Michael Palin from Monty Python's "Nobody escapes the Spanish Inquistion" sketch.

Yes, I know I was stating the obvious, but it is conceivably possible that there are some non-Python fans playing MTW (although these people are rare and should be tracked down and exterminated http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Getting my posts up so I'm not going to edit the other one...I gotta 5 star gen who was duke of wherever, but also he was the "Chief ennuch" of somewhere else. I was being lazy & auto assigning titles at the time. But DAMN, that's a harsh way to reward a man.

Hey you, I've gotta title for you, it's kind of a thanks for all the hardwork you've put in, you know, building the empire up on my behalf. You'll get a really cool province, only thing is for you to qualify we'll need your..........
