I think they're beatable, besides which, which faction can field them in MP? I assume if any, its only the Danes. Haven't seen anyone use even one unit of them in MP since the patch.

Erm, aren't they supposed to be the absolute pinnacle of anti-cavalry infantry ? They should also be tough nuts for standard infantry to crack too.

If they are hard as nails then that's fine by me. Just try and keep out of their way until you can double team them where it hurts.

well i find them definiatly beatable... i never seem to use them though as they are not worth thier high price, contidering a unit of FMAA can take them out them i know what to use

Anyway,they r too powerfull,and should be more vulnerable on the flanks...
Remember that in a pikemen formation 4 ranks can fight at once,each giving (I think) +2 defence to the front ranks,so u can easily see that a deep pikemen formation on hold formation is VERY TOUGH to beat,almost impenetrable...
The solution should be that,when a unit is on hold formation,it's speed should be reduced,so that it would be more vulnerable on the flanks.

Good... but in the sp campaign I have to wonder if they are worth both the cost, and the time it takes them to get to their objective (switzerland is usually a long way away from any warzone, and its not close to the coast either).


Certainly balanced.
