Yeah, I guess I translated the title to literally. (Obviously have the dutch translation)

It is but if you're looking for something more accessible to get an idea of whether or not you like his style you could try 'Twaalf zwerfverhalen' which is a collection of short stories.

Don't know the English title, but 'Kroniek van een aangekondigde dood' is also great. I love tragic-comedy, he's a master of it.
