Here are three contemporary images that include an asymmetrical mace, probably known as the qurz from the 12th-13th centuries. This was probably the forebear of the animal-headed mace of later centuries.

Ok, here's a different question then from yesterday's that you ignored: do you interact in this forum or just post these "informative" emails?

Sasanian bull-headed mace (http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=IUVTAQAAQBAJ&pg=PA123&lpg=PA123&dq=sasanian+bull-headed+mace&source=bl&ots=6aU1a_ltdQ&sig=F2rT7FTsr0vTVyhHMy-CM1fLhf4&hl=en&sa=X&ei=OJpjU9SYLsXiPMD9gdgP&ved=0CDIQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=sasanian%20bull-headed%20mace&f=false) & Scepter in the shape of a bull's head (http://metmuseum.org/collections/search-the-collections/326224)
Bull- (or cow-) headed maces are mentioned in the Shahnama. This may have influenced later maces.

I've yet to see any evidence of it, just this picture spam filling up this forum, not that it matters since I'm the only one currently actively talking about actual game play. So he's free to spam up the place with this pointless non-sense if he likes as long as the mods don't care, and given how far back this spam goes I think it's safe to assume they don't.

That however does not actually change the entire purpose of this forum, which is player discussion of the actual game itself. :wall:
