I will smash one of them each day EB2 is not released...
...you know what you need to do.
If they are Neolithic microliths or Bevel Rimmed Bowls from the Mesopotamian city of Ur then it is not a threat.
D@mN it Brennus!!! I think he just broke one!

The threat could have been even more terrifying if you had ended with something like "...and I haven't taken any pictures of them or written down any notes, so there will be no hope of gathering any information afterwards."

Uruk, damn you! :stare:

A rather baseless threat, as I don't see there being too much to defile after over 2000 years of breaking down have done their job.
On the other hand, if he were to threaten to burn a scroll with a list of the collections of the library of Alexandria...
I_damian or Alexander?

It has been done. You were warned. You have 23 hours and 41 minutes to give me what I want or I dynamite all the pyramids.

You had more than 7 years to learn the most important words about EB II:
It's done when it's done.
And after waiting more than 2500 days for this masterpiece to be released, I am very much sure you will neither die nor go insane in the last week(s).
I'm not sure dude. This is EBII. He may very well die then go insane if he waits any longer. Yes in that order. :grin2:

It could have been worse. He could have threatened to become the History's Channel "expert" on Antiquity.

Afraid Major-General Richard Vyse and Giovanni Caviglia beat you to it a couple of centuries ago.

That seriously made my day - LOL! :laugh4:
But wasn't that man's name Howard Vyse? ;)
EDIT: Nevermind, just looked it up - Richard William Howard Vyse. :)

I was sure you aren't serious (how could you be serious about defiling Alexanders tomb, after all? If you found it, you'd have a lot of other things to worry about anyway :laugh4:)
It's just that I still have that odd fear about the EB team finally having enough of all those "when it be released? WHEN?! Release it nao!" posts, the "this mod is dead anyways!" blabbering, the "you should mod R2TW - noone wants to play M2TW anymoar!" nonsense and the "no LS?! outrageous!" absurdity that have summed up to probably several thousands of posts throughout the years. Having enough of this the team decides that we simply don't deserve to play EB II as we didn't show proper patience/understanding.
And yes, I know that having this fear is saying a lot about my trust in the EB team, hmph. :embarassed: The weird thing is that my head is perfectly trusting them. My stomach disagrees at times, though.
May just be because EB II for me will be - as I stated several times already - the definite antiquity strategy game.
I decided to boycot Steam and therefore never bought/played any TW title after Medieval II. That was easy because I didn't give up much (but kept my customer rights by rejecting Steam, hehe).
Not having a chance to play EB II would be a serious blow, though.
So, in other words: Don't take my above post too serious. It's just the panic that speaks through me. :creep:

Pff, I've never whined about any aspect of EB2. I don't care about no LOD on first release. I don't even know what LOD is! And who said they should mod Rome 2 instead? That nobody cares about M2TW anymore? Are those people crazy? I bought Rome 2 on release day because I was so hyped by their criminally misleading advertizing campaign, also because Shogun 2's quality was outstanding and I trusted them, and I can tell you for a fact it's the worst £30 I've ever spent. If I had given that £30 to an alcoholic homeless man, knowing that he would spend every penny of it on booze, I would have considered it a better way of spending £30. At least the homeless man would've got a few days of doing what he loved - drinking - from my 30 quid. As it is I gave it to a bunch of lying bastards that ruined what should have been one of the best strategy games ever!
As for the people saying nobody cares about M2TW anymore... they crazy. I installed M2 a few weeks ago ready for the EB2 release and I've been playing it on and off since then and I can tell you it's still an awesome game. Way better than Rome 2!
Aliens ,Aliens everywhere.
Not just any aliens... Nazi time-travelling aliens!
Preach brother...Im with you.

I agree with I_damian here. I don't mind that there are no LOD's on release, what I care about is the history and research and the effort you guys have put in to make something so awesome.
I have been checking up on this mod for almost a year after playing EB (and loving it!) and discovering, holy moly they are making another! You guys have made me realise that there is so much more to history than I ever thought there could be and inspired me to study Archaeology at University. You guys are living legends. :hail:
PS. Please release soon :2thumbsup:
