Screen Resolution / format

Whenever i start the game, it runs in the same format as the Medieval II launcher, and if i try to adjust the video resolution under options from its standard 1024 to the format i use (1680) then it becomes unresponsive as though the buttons moved (ie. i can use the keyboard to navigate, but not the mouse) though the resolution of the window never changed.

Is this a problem with my settings or installation? Tried running MTW2 (gold and disc version) and that worked perfectly :/

To quote the maestro, easy fix:


Go to: M2TW\mods\EBII
Open EBII.cfg in notepad(right click and edit).

Search for these and set to false:
windowed=false
borderless_window=false
