Withwnar's "Forced Diplomacy" for EB2

I doubt I'm the only one who doesn't appreciate the AI refusing reasonable requests, like Trade Rights, or a Ceasefire when you've thoroughly thrashed them. Fortunately, Withwnar has come up with a Force Diplomacy script (https://www.sendspace.com/file/5zch77), which I've tested and works.

Install the files, activate in the usual way via the "Show Me How" script, resetting the Advisor each time you want to use it.

Not sure how you've managed that; if you click on the link or right-click and "Save Target As" they both come up with the zip.

That's the webpage redirecting to the zip file. I am guessing you have some sort of script- or pop-up blocker installed that prevents the redirect. Could you try left clicking on the link (as opposed to right clicking and then selecting "save as")? If that doesn't work, try another browser. And if that doesn't work, see if you can discover what piece of software is blocking the redirect.

If anyone, like me, is using z3n's updated BAI/CAI, you need an updated EDA to keep using Force Diplomacy. A compatible one is here (make sure you install after z3n's updates): 15145.

Already built into 2.04b, and indeed every version since 2.02. This submod is completely unnecessary now, Forced Diplomacy is a standard feature of EBII.

It's in the extremely long list of past changes that's spoiler-tagged in the thread, as I said, it was back with 2.02 it was brought in.

Note this is integrated into the mod now - it's part of the campaign script.

To activate, just click on the "?" icon when you've put a proposal in place.
