I'm not sure if you all know this but having read that pressing the "v" key on the keyboard allows you to see what shipping lanes are blocked are bagan pressing a few more. By pressing the keys z, x, c, or v you can view the map showing either just castles or specialist units, just your armies or just the A1 armies etc. Don't ask me which buttons for which as I only discovered it last night. These may have been mentioned in the tutorial.... but hey who takes everything in.............thought I would mention it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

The shift key to show loyalty is very good. I had to visit each province to make sure it is well above 100%. Kinda tedious. Thanks for the tip.

The auto-tax now tries to keep loyalty above 130% which prevents most rebellions. It works quite well since most rebellions occur when loyalty is below 120%. Now you don't have to go through each province manually checking the loyalty and adjusting the tax rate just to prevent rebellions. I believe there is a command line switch which allows you to adjust the % loyalty the auto-tax tries to maintain, but I can't remember it.

Hey Guys,

I find nothing more dissorienting than fighting 3 large battles and then going to the campaign map.

I have a bad habit of pushing the SHIFT key with the arrows to try and make it move along the map faster.

I often wondered why my territories turned green, but it kind of freaked me out and I thought I was breaking the game. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

Well, time to put my touch typing skills to the test. Next time I'm on the campaign map I shall be going from a - z to see what treats, if any, this calls up.

Hey, if anyone else is finding it annoying to move your view from Wessex to Antioch via the arrow keys, for anyone who didn't know, you can just select the area you want to look at via on the mini map in the top left, and Poof, you're right there.
