Foot Order Ranks [Archive]

Hi

How come Foot Order get a Def Bonus in 3 Ranks compared to Normal Spearmens 3?

Also if this is mentioned in the official Strategy Guide can you tell me what page?

See chapter 3 pages 40 and 41, plus pages 52 thru 62 also chapter 3. Page 55 has a short discussion on your specific question, supporting ranks, but the rest of the chapter gives other factors that determine the outcome as well. The kill chance(pg.57) is especially useful info to know.
