anyone know how to edit this? I think it's the biggest disadvantage for AI because they are slow on buildings and constantly on war, would be a better idea to turn it completely off.

I doubt that it is easily moddable.
we were chatting to mtw programmer eat cold steel about this. trying to get the pillage to occur after the castle falls not before.
he said it can be done but not without a fair bit of work from the programer side, and could only be considered for an x pack.
having said this, i would suggust you take a walk down to the dungeon where all the modding guys hangs out.
(down there hearing the occasional scream and crack of a whip is normal so just ignore it.)
