So the egyptians are sweeping across eastern europe and have begun encroaching on the HRE. HRE and French are too buisy sabre rattling to notice the domino effect of islam sweeping across europe like a fire storm on a hot windy day. It falls to King Gunnarson of the Danes to put a fire break between the egyptian threat and christendom. So I launch a holy crusade (yes as the Danes) to Hungary (fairly close should be easy money. My army wipes all before it and Hungary is soon liberated from the egyptian scurge. But then comes the counter attack - The defensive set up for hungary - always at the bottom of a very large hill - No where to hide but try and keep them men from fleeing while 2000 screaming infidels come charging down the hill. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES - Hold up in the castle - our allies in god the french arrive and liberate the province - the infidels counter attack again. This goes on.... and on..
