Hi there!!!

I have a serious problem:
I unpacked the files.
I deleted the two files.
I think I changed something from the unpacked files.
I started a new campaign with the Holy Roman Empire.
My first attack was with the Rebels.
I lost because of time.
Then, Poland attacked me.
When it was ready to view my message of the battle, it closed and a message "exploded" :
"Medieval 2 Total War has found an unexpected error and now it will close"
Or something like this

Help please!!!!! Someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lord of Terror. Welcome to the Org! ~

I'm not sure I understand your problem. What were you "unpacking"? Are you referring to installing M2TW or a mod of the game?

Either way, since you aren't exactly sure what you did, it seems a reinstall of the game is in order.

As for changing your portrait (avatar), click on "Settings" in the upper left corner of any page (to the left of "Log Out"). When the Settings page comes up, look down the left side of the screen for "Edit Avatar" and click on that. That will take you to the Avatar page. You can change your avatar there.

To make the game a little more interesting (e.g. give more money at the start of the campaign to a faction), you have to change some files. Some files are very easy to find them and change them. But if you want to change a big thing in your game (e.g. create your own faction), you have to change some files that are in other files, like "zipped". To "unzip" them, you have to unpack them. There is a program, only when you buy the game, that is in the disc, that only that can unpack these files. When you have finished unpacking, to play at the campaign "manual" battles, you have to delete two files, from the unpacked files, or you just can't play battles. Especially, if you have changed something at the unpacked files, these changes have to be right, "clipped", with the other things that contains this file. And this is my problem: I completed the unpack, I changed the unpacked files a little bit, I am 100% sure that I did it right, I deleted the two files and I still can't play battles at the campaign. I need someone experienced at these things plzzzzzzzzz
P.S. thank you for your try at all
P.S. 2 Sorry for my english but I am not from england, I am from Greece :)
