Who would have thunk it.........................a Kickstarter that lets you try before you buy.

It plays a bit like the original Everquest, and yes, the graphics will get better, have a look and see what you think. I played last night and liked it enough that a Scotsman actually shelled out some cash, does it need any more endorsement???????????

"We already have plenty of MMOs," you may be thinking to yourself. "This is just another generic fantasy game. I've already played this."

The quote above is from their website you linked, and while they did it for the purposes of attempting to refute it, I myself would remain skeptical. I'd of course like to be proved wrong in this skepticism, and I certainly support the funding model, since anything that removes publishers from the industry is a good thing.
