What\'s up with the disappearing heir?

I just came out of a battle against the Imagawa. I was Takeda, and I had beautifully pulverized them 546-50. But when I come out of the battle I discover that Shingen's missing from my order of battle! What the hell is this?

I remember patch V 1.12 should have fixed this problem. Another possibility is you brought your very high ranked heir along with your daimyo onto the battlefield - and he died! You can check the logfiles to see if he was really killed. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif
