Welcome all members of The Org to...

The Big Attila Survey (http://kwiksurveys.com/s.asp?sid=323bu00dhuc3bp8502733)

ATTILA: TOTAL WAR: Is it the plundering warlord of the series... or the weak-chinned heir of Rome 2? Did it ransack your expectations with its excellence... or sully the name of a mighty franchise?

In this 46 question survey you will be asked about numerous aspects of the game's design, how it compares to Rome 2 and your thoughts on the franchise and developers.

The aim of the game is to provide some interesting info to community, modders and developers, so please... consider your time with the game, answer honestly and enjoy the survey (linked here (http://kwiksurveys.com/s.asp?sid=323bu00dhuc3bp8502733)).

Oh for the love of...

Fredrin, if you're going to play the shill at least keep your surveys to one thread.

I deleted his other thread with the outdated survey.

Thanks for doing that, Hooahguy.

Greyblades, what do you mean by "playing the shill"?

Can't speak for exactly what Greyblades meant, but I know what it means when used in Las Vegas or Atlantic City...

It means in gambling that you are hired to work as a sort of privatier for the house. Casinos sometimes bankroll good players to play their own games on their behalf. So while you think you are losing to a regular joe, in reality you are losing to a professional playing with house money.

Thanks. Bit of an obscure way of saying it but I think I can get what he's driving at.

No Greyblades, I'm not some CA shill going undercover to get market research info. Your insinuation is ironic given that they won't even let me post this survey on the official forum pages!

I think they're pretty uncomfortable with these kind of things exposing their shortcomings when they mess up (as the Rome 2 survey (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0a23f6ALYl1XzYzcXJSQU1Celk/view?usp=sharing) did).

I think the reason for the two different threads is that the first one was a "beta", he was still fine-tuning the questions and choices therein. The "results" of that one weren't going to go anywhere, other than provide feedback to OP to adjust the survey as necessary.

I infer that this is the actual survey, with results purportedly to provide feedback to CA/Sega.

Thanks Bramborough, my thinking exactly. I should've put it in the same thread perhaps.

It would be a bonus if CA/SEGA decided to look (and act) on the results of this survey. They seem pretty determined to suppress it on the official forums by locking threads with it linked - read into that what you will.

I mostly do it to see what the consensus is on a few topics. Some TW communities find this quite interesting/helpful.
