Using the Religion System in BI for Europa Barbarorum.

New to the forums here but I'm wondering if its possible to use the religion system in Barbarian Invasion to make it work just like the cultural conversion in Europa Barbarorum II?

It's been too long since I played BI, but I guess something similar could be attempted. IIRC not all features of M2:TW culture system can be replicated in BI though, and it would require substantial changes to the way EB1 is set up.
