This is an unusual Coptic manuscript as it is written in Arabic:
Coptic-Arabic Gospel, Institut Catholique Ms. Copte-Arabe 1, 1249-50 AD (http://warfare.tk/13/Institut_Catholique_Ms_Copte-Arabe-1-f4v.htm) The Magi before Herod, The Massacre of the Innocents & Christ and the Centurion of Capernaum.
Like some 13th century Islamic manuscripts, all the people have a nimbus (halo) rather than just the holy. There are swords, spears and nachakh, ?abar or ?abarzin war axes.
