Greetings all.
This just might be premature however I am currently in the process of making a Hyborian Age mod if anyone is interested. The Hyborian Age of course comes from Robert E Howard's Conan stories. The original Howard stories are the greatest action adventure stories ever written, by Ishtar! I am a huge Howard fan and always wanted to bring his vibrant world to Total War. I have waited for ages for someone to make a mod of this and nothing happened. So I'm taking matters into my own hands!
This is not the first time this has happened however. Another Howard fan attempted this a while back and came very close before abandoning the mod mid creation. So will I succeed where others have failed? It's too early to tell.
Reasons to be optimistic;
I have already done a fair amount of work on it.

Reasons to be suspicious;
Several have tried and failed to create this mod already.
I am new to serious modding, though I am not wholly inexperienced.
Much work remains to be done.
The last guy to try this disappeared! 0.0
An annoying problem with 3ds Max

We shall see. I'd appreciate some skinning advice. Or modding advice in general. The game will be a total conversion mod for RTW BI.
