Winnig the game : the blood-free style ?

Have you ever tried this :
winning the game without killing soldiers ?
Just with ninjas and geishas...

Which is, in your opinion, the best clan for doing such a campaign ?

PS : after having played too much time with DIABLO II expansion, I'm back... waiting now for an other expansion...

How the beeeeeeeep would you do that? The only clan that has a ninja house at the beginning is Imagawa, and they'd get killed if they don't start conquering quickly. And do you not count generals as soldiers? Do you plan to kill the entire enemy army with geishas? What about the computer that builds troops every season? Hmm?

First I want to correct a little mistake I've done : "Winning the game..." and not "winnig..."

Second, I don't count generals or daimyos as soldiers.

third, I have already tried this "tactic", the very first time I have played the game.
I was a little afraid of attacking, so I started my "turtle" tactic, and it was with Hoojoo.
In fact, I have started during this campaign, 2 or 3 battles... but the ennemy surrendered, always before the first kill : so, no kills at all (except generals)
I know that playing like this is VERY DIFFICULT, but I think it's possible. Early in the game, kill generals (or try to kill...) with ninjas and/or attack with large armies to force the ennemy to surrender before the start of the battle (=no kills). Then later in the game, use geishas.
But, but but... how can I win against Ronins... mmmmm ... I don't know...

Perharps it is not 100% possible to win the game like this, but I'm sure that we can go very very deep in the campaign WITHOUT KILLING SOLDIERS.

The Sengoku Jidai could become ....
the Heiwagoku Jidai (Era of Countries in Peace) ... sounds good, no?

Methinks this would only work on 'easy' setting (if at all), since on any other the AI will simply keep producing more men until no more can they produce. When the armies begin to get depleted the computer will just reinforce its provinces until it has enough to attack you. Either way you fight a losing battle.

I think this can be done with lots of patience and of course with SAVE/LOADs.
