I played several custom games last night and noticed how easily units were breaking is this the same for every 0one or was it just the games i played?
It's because the default valor of units in custom battles is 0, and 0 valor units have very little morale. You can increase their valor to 4 in setup, but they cost more money the higher you set their valor, and even 4 is kind of low compared to what you'll be used to from campaign mode if you typically field armies under a high ranking general.

Wow 1000+ games online and i never noticed that http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
Nah just kidding you werent to know http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
I just thought maybe morale has been changed for the units http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Valour is also very important for artillery with high valour = accuracy. I had this culveran unit with a valour of 9 (12 with the general, but 9 is the max in a battle). They hit their assigned target about 30-40% of the time.

You noticed that in the scenario battles, although there is no timer in the top right, if they go on for too long, the game just freezes...
1000+ battles, but I bet you never knew that http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif j/k

Does anyone know where I can go for some stats on artillery accuracy? It would be useful to have some sort of table on this, I think.
www.totalwarassembly.com has the table. Treb. as accuracy of 0.6 (don't know what that means exactly).
