One stupid question.

How can I train Gothic Foot Knights?

Don't tell me to look on the teck tree i can't find it.

Before the battle starts, right click the unit icon at the bottom of the screen. That should bring up a box with some options; one of the options is mount/dismount.

You must dismount them before you begin the battle.

I don't know how it all works post-patch; I remember pre-patch some knights could not dismount during cerain periods and others only during sieges. Check the Table of Contents thread for a complete discussion of this topic http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
