It looks like fun, although the player is making a mess of things. I'm not a big fan of these scripted battles, but it gives us something to look at!

It actually looks pretty cool! The lack of good tactics annoyed me but I would like to see a non-scripted battle played by a half-competent player. That flank looked too good for it to be non-scripted.

Yeah, he ignored those Spider Goblins for way too long.
I wonder what would have happened, if he had used the rocks/chasm on the right to secure that flank. My fear is that the Spider Goblins would have just charged straight into the defenders. :no:

The fact that he allowed space on his flanks for the spiders to flank him at all shows a serious lack of tactics on his part.

I have a feeling they left themselves more open than they should have and just general crappy gameplay to make the ai look a little harder than it was.

Probably. Its a new team after all, so who knows what will happen. I will wait for the independent review though before buying.

Here's the same battle twice more. So we have three different takes on the battle so far. This shows that the flanking maneuver is not scripted. You can see the spiders attack at different points in the different videos. Still none of the players play even close to optimal, even Angry Joe blunders along, can't really blame him for focussing on the animations too much.

First impression about 5 minutes into the video. Angry Joe doesn't look like a very angry fellow.

15minutes in: Wow, this guy should never play MP, he'd be stomped.

Well the entire draw of Angry Joe is when he gets angry, then they get pretty funny. Look for his review of Ride to Hell Retribution or whatever that terrible game is called, the review is pretty funny. But otherwise I find his reviews pretty average when hes not freaking out over how bad a game is.

If that's right then the Ai is pretty smart, especially if the spiders don't always flank. It'll make for quite interesting games. I can't wait personally.

It sure looks different compared to the other TW games! I really do have high hopes for this game :)! Going to take some work studying all the units and that!

Yeah the game is really fun. This fantasy setting really changes a lot from the previous series. It feels fresh. A needed change in my opinion.
