As many of you know, earlier this year I decided that it was time for me to lose weight. I started weighing myself regularly and exercises and was very disappointed with how slow and unreliable the results were. At the advice of someone here I decided to avoid the scale and just continue to work out and eat healthy and not obsess. I am happy to say that I just hit 280lbs. Now if that seems huge to you, it wouldn't if you were me a few months ago. I feel so much healthier and more alive now. Of course the work has just begun and I am gonna keep working hard at it, but I thought it was time to take a break from eating healthily and celebrate by indulging in a little comfort food to mark the occasion.

I decided that I would finally make the fruit salad my fitness coordinator wanted me to. It is not just any fruit salad though...it is a Texas Fruit Salad. ~;)

Every fruit salad needs its fruit.

And what is wrong with adding a few vegetables?

Now I am just waiting for the fruit salad to bake, and I can go back to work Monday and let my fitness coordinator know that I finally took her advice on the fruit salad...I may even bring in pictures. :beam:

The name is just a pun Csargo. It is something I invented for the heck of it.
