I lost my General playing Byzants. Now on every battle thdetails on undividual units keeps coming up "Not worried by death of General". It is now 120 years since he died but his ghost still haunts all my battles. Why? Does it make a difference and if a battle starts going against me could this cause even worse moral. I havnt lost yet but...
Best wishes

It's just a statement that is your general did die they wouldn't take a morale penalty. Some units have this, i forget which, usually they are the more disciplined ones or merc. types like bulgarian brigands.
Anyway, it's an ability, not a statement of what has happened.

Units like Van. Guard and Byz inf and some elite units have "Not Panicked by Death of General".

MonkeyMan is correct, its not saying that thier general has died, its just saying that IF he was to die, they wouldnt lose morale over it
Disciplined units get this. Some Elites are also Disciplined but most aren't and as such they suffer the problems of generals dying, though they often have a stellar Morale and will not run for ages.

Ok are you making fun now?
Well if you are not. Unit have that little text that run through to the next text, among these is the Disciplined units "Not worried by death of general", it is not an effect of what has happened.
