I was toying with two Crusades based games.
One was a Stainless Steel Late Era Kingdom of Jerusalem succession game where we roleplay the King, the Grandmaster of the Knights Templar and the Grandmaster of the Knights Hospitalier, but I haven't found a rule set for an internal power struggle that won't make the game a chore to play.
The other idea I had was that we hotseat a game as Antioch, Jerusalem and the Byzantines int he Crsuades expansion of M2TW, since all 3 factions have great infantry units and thus are suitable for an AR only battles game.
