Spanish Mozarabic or Visigothic soldiers on the Glencairn Casket (http://warfare.gq/6C-11C/Casket-Glencairn_Museum-Judgement.htm)

This is perhaps a more likely source for the appearance of Visigothic Infantry (http://warfare.gq/WRG/Dark_Ages-41-Visigothic_Infantry-7C.htm) than the Ashburnham Pentateuch (http://warfare.ml/6-10/Ashburnham-Pentateuch-f40r-Joseph.htm) which is probably Eastern Mediterranean rather than Spanish.
