it is kind of an intro, but the graphics compared with the screenshots in the journal and on the web look nearly the same to me

I am just glad that they didnt do Shogun: Kensai, a console-only 3d action game featuring a voloptuous katana-wielding female set in the Sengoku Jidai.

uhh oh i think this is a hoax
look at the title scenes its the exact same scene from mtw and since when did CA start calling themselves The CA???
also those graphics just cannot be ingame and if any1 thinks they are HAHAHA. it would take a bloody great big super computer to generate 5000 highly detailed characters like that. and imagine the lag over the internet ud need a optical fibre connection.

Yawn, once again I will not believe any of this, CA have not an nounced this on their own site, anyone find it odd that they released this awesome information to a german speaking website when most Total War players speak english or can speak english? (Don't quote me on that).
Guys, stop getting all excited, this is NOT the next Total War.
you maybe be right it maybe a hoax a very very good one but its annoys me that CA cant give us a anwers they cant let us keep wondering like this for agaes can there http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif soon this well turn into an arguement of people agreeing and dissagreeing i hope they just tell us http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Sorry, didn't realise you'd need official or even unofficial statements on Christmas Day. Before any official announcements or press releases which might have been promised to anyone else. Sheesh. Lighten up, please. The office is open again next Monday (I think) and it's only till Jan 16th at the latest that you'll have to wait to know the truth.
And no, I'm not saying anything else...

dont be so stupid people this is not the next total war...its probably just some crummy game like dynasty warriors on ps2
Someone shoud drag GilJaysmith upon an MP Battlefield and poke him with some pointy sticks and rusty swords till he makes an confession ... after that it´s the Inquisitions job http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif . j/k
Rome would be great ... a new computer needed, wouldn´t be that great http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif .
Anyways ... whatever it is CA is brewing in it´s cellars ... will be great stuff http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pat.gif

PS: Please don´t release the new TW too soon I´m stll fighting the sideeffects of my MTW addiction http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif .
Just to let u know that the screenies are right here on the org as well, anyone else have some more please post em here as well, for all to see:

Quote[/b] (Knight_Yellow @ Dec. 25 2002,14:56)]and since when did CA start calling themselves The CA???
CA calls themselves "The Creative Assembly" on a couple of MTW screens also. If you start the game and let all the start screens run through, you will see a screen with The Creative Assembly displayed.

it's a fake, a hoax, but a nice one and worthy of congratulations

If it is a hoax , the perhaps CA should hire the hoaxers ?
They would have to be fairly capable to perpertrate one so artfully .
