I have a strong suspicion that this game was working out simultaneously with MTW. It is not possible to create such an outstanding game (actually graphics but I hope the game too) during less tham a year.

YUP No doubt about it, the boys at CA have a PLAN Now y'all know why no more patches and why you have to live with MP as it is. May not be quite just, but true TW fans can live with it.

TheViking, it sounds like it's hanging trying to load the pop-up ad that comes up on the main page. That's usually what is the cause for me when it seems to hang with only the totalwar.org sign loaded. Apparantly that sign gets loaded before the ad, while the rest of the page is loaded afterwards, thus if there's a problem with the ad, you never get the rest of the page.

Less units on the battlefield than in MTW and polygon models which will probably slow computers down to a crawl.. Oh well, I guess the upside is that we won't have any annoying cannons or other gunpowder units. :P
