OK, I just had a big battle with the Golden Horde
14841 vs 8223
I killed 6652, captured 1561 and destroyed the line, so the faction ended.

What I want to know is what happened to the 832 of my guys who were captured during the battle? I was not given the opportunity to purchase their freedom.

Do they dissapear with the faction?
Or are they automatically freed?

I hope and expect the latter but with 8223 guys, I'm not about to check all the stats compared to whats left afterwards.

While I'm at it, there seems to be a dissimilarity between the number of troops in the log file and in the ingame 'here comes a battle, do you want to control it yourself' dialogue box.
The former says the GH had 21480 and I had 8160 troops but the latter said 14841 and 8223.

I would guess (might also have seen it previously mentioned?) that the log file just gives the number of units * unit size setting (120) while the ingame dialogue actually gives an accurate count?

Whenever you win a battle your men captured will be freed.

The same goes for the enemy. That is why you have to execute every single enemy when all your men have routed from the field.

It does execute them sometimes. I lost a battleonce and they must have captured 100 routing troops with their Hobilars. I only got the chance to buy 5 back...........
