Down with modems

ive subscribed to cable 1mb service just a few hours ago and wat else can i say appart from it ROCKS

Ive got 4 computers networked and all 4 can download from kazza and i can still play mtw at the same time.

plus battlefield 1942 has no lag at all. YAY

oh and a happy new year all.

Do you play online with a 56k modem from Sydney? I never bothered trying because I assumed with the distance lag and the modem that it'd be too slow. How do you find it?

yeah i just got a cable connection three days ago and between the p2p networking and mtw multiplay my poor girlfriend is stuck reading books
gotta get back to the job tomorrow, though, so life will probably return to normal soon

yeah i play with a 56k from sydney, no problems at all

ive even tried the old 28.8k from sydney, and it works fine about 80% of the time

I was holding back on the idea of modem-based MP, but maybe I should try, It is much closer to the servers from Chicago that from The Island and since you are OK...
