Rome: Total War, The Map

We all know that the RTW map will span as far east as Persia, but what else can we expect? I would like to see the map go farther south into Africa around Sudan, excuse me, Nubia. And other of the valuable states of the continent at that time.

Your thoughts?

isnt there a report of roman ruins as far east as China, well you goto have greece, you goto have Carthage so more of northern Africa as you say, yep youve goto have persia
goto have the Uk and germania, could you go as far as Hyderabad? Pak/India?

India should be there as some "promised land of conquest" which could be yours if you crushed all your enemies and gave it some real attention...
same with china, really... but i dont think they will go that far.

Rome thought it could get that far and couldnt, so id expect them to leave it out even though it should be there for us to strive for.

My guess and its only a guess. The map as a whole wont be much biger than the MTW map.

It might have a few more provances on it.(ie england is made up of more than 3 etc)

But as a whole it will probably be about the same.

I think Shades has it right - the future MTW provinces are pretty much all there on the MTW map except for the easternmost Persian countries
