What can I say?
The man who portrayed the only version of Batman I really liked has passed away:

Holy Grim Reaper, Batman! R.I.P.
I hadn't followed him in his post Batman life, but the few times I saw or heard him over the years, he seemed a kind man who embraced the legend of a "lesser" role that most actors would have tried to distance themselves from.

Pow! Wham! Sniffle.
Rest In Peace Caped Crusader.
I was reading about him yesterday (specifically about his Johnny Bravo Cameo), and today is now dead.
RIP Adam West. Your cheesy Batman will never be forgotten

Batman's legacy is kinda summed up (for me) in a recollection by his co-star:
"We put on our tights to put on the world"
I think that captures the essence of Batman
