RIP Linkin Park (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/20/arts/music/chester-bennington-linkin-park-dead.html)
Crawling in his skin, these wounds they would not heal?
Because we need a consolidated thread.
Also, George Romero has dedeaded.
Not my thing, too emo. Guess he listened to his own music too much. RIP

Kobe... this has hit me hard. I grew up playing basketball at a professional team (junior teams) and Kobe was everywhere. He was the man. Everyone wanted to emulate him. Kobe up, Kobe down. Shoot like him, dribble like him, watch him. Everything was Kobe.
A legend.
a completely inoffensive name

I've been depressed all day. Watched Kobe my whole life, devastated about this. The whole city is mourning.

“You just fulfilled the first rule of law enforcement: make sure when your shift is over you go home alive.”
Your shift is now over and you've returned home. God Bless. We will all miss that rich Scottish brouge.

One of the top 2 Bonds, but I think my favorite movie of his is The Man Who Would Be King. The Hill is a decent (if somewhat obscure) older film of his, and of course Time Bandits was superb.

I like just watched The Rock. He saved that movie, what a terrible loss.
We lost Robert Fisk (https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/nov/01/robert-fisk-veteran-british-foreign-correspondent-dies-aged-74), today. One of the greatest journalists in Middle Eastern affairs. May he rest in peace.
