Just wondering: what is the maximum valour obtainable for a ship (or, a ship's captain really)?
I'm well into my second campaign and have never had a ship with more than 3 stars (I design my camp.map strategy so I have as little sea battles as possible).

Highest I've had was 4* - but i've noticed that sometimes ships built in provinces that are supposed to get a valour bonus dont always get it grrrrrr

Yup...me too. Don't know if it is a bug or not, but Caravels are supposed to get a +1 bonus if constructed in Portugal. Well, sometimes I would get 2 stars, 1 star or no stars when I was pumping out caravels from Portugal in my English campaign.
Didn't make sense. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif
